Northern Michigan University Native American Heritage Month will include a screening of the film “Christmas in the Clouds,” with a discussion following the screening, on Monday, November 16 at 7 p.m. in the Whitman Hall Commons.
“Christmas in the Clouds” is a classic comedy of mistaken identity and romance set during the holiday season at a ski resort that is owned and operated by a Native American tribe. Shot on location at the Sundance Resort in Utah, this is the first contemporary romantic comedy to feature an almost entirely American Indian cast.
The event is free and open to the public.
