Marquette City Police Department Announce New Detective Lieutenant – Nov. 6

Marquette, Michigan November 6, 2015 – The Marquette City Police Department is pleased to announce the promotion of Detective Sergeant Greg Kinonen to the position of Detective Lieutenant effective November 16, 20 IS. Detective Greg Kinonen was promoted to the position of Detective Lieutenant effective November 16,2015.

Kinonen began his career as Patrolman with the Marquette Police Department in October of 1997 and would later become a Detective in July of 2014. Detective Kinonen is also an Evidence Technician with the police department. Kinonen was selected to fill the vacant Lieutenant position after the recent promotion of Mike Kohler to Detective Captain
