Pakistani Student Discusses Homeland April 9th

MARQUETTE – Maryam Khan, a Northern Michigan University exchange student from Pakistan, will give a presentation on urban life, the natural world and traditions that shape her country today. Her talk is scheduled at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 9, in Jamrich Hall 1313. The public is invited.

Khan is a native of Karachi, the capital of Sindh province and the largest, most populated city in Pakistan. It also serves as a main seaport and financial center.

The NMU International Programs Office is sponsoring her presentation.
