Negaunee – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter will hold a 40th Anniversary Open House and Celebration bash on Saturday, October 24 from noon to 6 p.m. at the shelter, 84 Snowfield Road, in Negaunee Township.
Everyone is invited to celebrate this major milestone in UPAWS history. The anniversary celebration is an opportunity to thank each and every person for their support over the years. Tour the shelter, meet and greet the animals awaiting their forever homes, and maybe even find your new furry friend!
