Marquette – Vintage Cinema will present a screening of “All Quiet on the Western Front “ starring Lew Ayres, Louis Wolheim, and John Wray on Monday, November 2 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

Released in 1930, this World War 1 drama is told through the eyes of young German recruits. Seeing the tragedy of war they realize there is no “enemy” or “right and wrong” as they were taught in school, leaving them disillusioned and bewildered. “All Quiet on the Western Front” is shown in the original black and white and runs for 136 minutes.
