Third Annual Baraga Avenue Harvest Fest Commences – Oct. 10

Marquette, MichiganOctober 8, 2015 –  The third annual Baraga Avenue Harvest Fest will take place on Saturday, October 10, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the 100 block of West Baraga Avenue between Front Street and Third Street.

Events for all ages will take place throughout the festival, including a big truck petting zoo, a petting zoo, Paint Baraga Avenue Chalk Painting Contest, local vendors, a pasty eating contest, a mechanical bull, children’s activities and more! Music will be provided by The Occassions and Troy Graham. A wide variety of food vendors from the local area will be on hand, and New Holland Brewery will be showcasing their brew,The Carhartt Woodsman, as well as an Ore Dock/New Holland Brewery collaboration.

This year’s events are sponsored by New Holland Brewery, Pike Distributing, along with Double Trouble Entertainment, Jean Kay’s Pasties & Subs, the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum, and the Marquette Downtown Development Authority.
