Oktoberfest Soup Cook Off – Oct. 10

Negaunee, MichiganOctober 8, 2015 – On Saturday, October 17th, Negaunee will host Oktoberfest in downtown Negaunee at the Eagle’s Club. During the event, there will be a Soup Cook Off.

The cost is $25 to participate as a cook. Cooks must be on site and set up by 1PM. You must provide your own warming dish and the soup must be cooked prior to arriving at the event.

People will pay $5 for five votes and vote for their favorite soup. Each additional vote will cost $1. Sample cups and spoons will be provided to each soup station for people to sample the soup.
The event will run from 1:30PM-5PM and each cook must man his or her own table. The winning soup will be announced at 5:30PM. The winner will receive the Soup Trophy, a $50 gift card, and have their soup featured for one week at Midtown Bakery and Cafe in downtown Negaunee.
