Calendar _ Education – UNITED Conference Conflict Resolution Presentation – Sept. 21

Marquette – Northern Michigan University will hold its annual Uniting Neighbors in the Experience of Diversity (UNITED) Conference Saturday, September 19 through Tuesday, September 29. UNITED is composed of a broad range of presentations, musical performances and film.

David Williams, NMU alumnus and Vanderbilt University vice chancellor for Athletics and University Affairs, will share what he’s learned about conflict resolution since his NMU student protest days, on Monday, September 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center.

UNITED is designed to “inform the NMU and greater Marquette area of different perspectives and points of view, with the ultimate goal of helping people think differently about diversity and inclusion.”

A complete schedule is available at www.nmu.edu/united.
