Ishpeming – The League of Finnish American Society meeting will feature the program “Travel in Finland” on Monday, September 21 at 7 p.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church, 333 East Ridge Street in Ishpeming.
A color documentary film titled “Finland, Land of Contrasts” will be shown. Open discussion on traveling will follow. Tanja Stanaway will entertain, singing songs from her recent tour to Finland, accompanying herself on accordion. The evening will close with refreshments and fellowship.
This meeting is open to the public. The League invites those with travel stories to tell to attend, especially those with travel experiences in Finland. There is no charge. A basket will be out for refreshment donations.
