Marquette – Jack Deo, of Superior View Photos, will present vintage photographs of deer camps from all over the Upper Peninsula on Thursday, January 30 at 7 p.m. at Kaufman Auditorium.
There will be pictures of some of the roughest hunting camps to some of the finest. You will see photos of grand lodges of the McCormick Tract, the Huron Mountain Club and Granot Loma. There will be a tribute to Buck LeVasseur with some great images and stories, and also Fred Rydholm with many of his classic photographs. All will be presented on a big screen.
Tickets in advance are $12 at the History Center or online at marquettehistory.org. Tickets at the door will be $15.
