Marquette – Northern Michigan University will hold its annual Uniting Neighbors in the Experience of Diversity (UNITED) Conference Saturday, September 19 through Tuesday, September 29. UNITED is composed of a broad range of presentations, musical performances and film.
Ginny Hawker and Tracy Schwarz will conduct a “Master Artist Workshop: Southern Appalachian Harmony” on Saturday, September 19 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Pioneer A and B rooms of the University Center. The event is free to the public.
UNITED is designed to “inform the NMU and greater Marquette area of different perspectives and points of view, with the ultimate goal of helping people think differently about diversity and inclusion.”
