Negaunee – The 10th annual Iron Oars Regatta, sponsored by the Upper Peninsula Community Rowing Club, will be held on Sunday, September 20 from 8 a.m. to noon beginning from the west end of Teal Lake in Negaunee.
Racing along the 3400 meter course toward the finish line on the east end of Teal Lake, college and community teams from the Midwest have been invited to compete in sweep rowing as well as sculling events.
Admission is free and concessions are available. The public is invited to come out and watch the fun.
