Calendar – Education – “18 Years of Not-So-Hard Labor: Growing Up at Marquette Branch Prison” – June 2

Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer the presentation, “18 Years of Not-So-Hard Labor: Growing Up at Marquette Branch Prison” with Bob Buchkoe, on Tuesday, June 2 at 2 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

This will be a multi-media presentation with slides, artifacts, and lots of interesting stories about how the prison impacted Buchkoe’s childhood and young adulthood. He lived at the prison from the time he was one year old until the semester he started college.

The fee for the event is $3 for NCLL members and $8 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased at the
door.
