Marquette – Northern Michigan University’s music department five day summer Percussive Attack Camp for musicians from middle school age through adults, will be offered Monday, August 3 through Friday, August 7 from 9 a.m.to 3 p.m. each day at NMU. The camp will end with a Friday evening public performance in Reynolds Recital Hall.
Instructors Carrie Biolo and Shannon Whitehouse will help participants develop musicianship within the context of courses in experimental, improvisation, traditional chamber ensemble, rudimental and la poubelle. Tuition of $150 covers the cost of instruction, one pair of Vic Firth drum sticks and a Percussive Attack Camp t-shirt.
