Calendar – Education – The Future of Bats: Our Michigan Bats and White-Nose Syndrome – May 27

Marquette – The Future of Bats: Our Michigan Bats and White-Nose Syndrome will be presented on Wednesday, May 27 at 7 p.m. at the MooseWood Nature Center at Presque Isle Park in Marquette.

The presentation will begin with an introduction regarding the Forestry Assistance Program by Conservation District Forester, Matt Watkeys. Wildlife Biologist, Bill Scullon of the Michigan DNR will discuss the importance of our bats, their conservation and their plight with White-Nose Syndrome.

A suggested donation of $5 per person or $10 per family up to four is being asked. For more information, email info@moosewood.org.
