Marquette – The inaugural Superior Birding Festival will be held Friday, May 22 through Sunday, May 24 in the Marquette area.
Registration will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ore Dock Brewing Company, 114 W. Spring Street, Marquette. Events include trips to the Peshekee Grade near Michigamme, Coastal Hot Spots, Yellow Dog Plains, and the Presque Isle Bog Walk in Marquette. There will also be a visit to the Chocolay Raptor Center in Harvey.
The cost is $35 per person or $55 per family, and free for those under 14 years. There is an additional $10 fee each for the trip to the Peshekee Grade and the Yellow Dog Plains.
