Chocolay Township – The South Shore Fishing Association will sponsor a Fishing Derby and Picnic on Saturday, September 12 from noon to 4 p.m. at Lakenenland, 15 miles east of Marquette on M-28 in Chocolay Township.
There will be a fishing pond and the picnic will start at 2 p.m. The event is in support of Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Parents and children who want to learn more about Big Brothers/Big Sisters and fishing are welcome to attend.
