Calendar – Outdoors – Downtown Marquette Farmers Market Opening – May 23

Marquette – The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market will kick-off the sixteenth season with a Grand Opening on Saturday, May 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Marquette Commons, 112 South Third Street.

The market will showcase many of the usual favorite vendors, including a handful of new additions. There will be a total of 49 season vendors, with eight brand new vendors. Shoppers visiting the market will find a great selection of local artwork, baked goods, flowers, live plants and fresh produce. Opening day will also include live music by Green Gene.

The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market accepts cash, credit cards, debit cards, SNAP Benefits/Bridge Cards, Project FRESH, Market FRESH and Double Up Food Bucks. Additionally, Hoophouses for Health Vouchers can be used where qualified at the market.
