Marquette, MI – The Friends of theOre Dock BotEco Center invite the public to attend a paint and share party. Recreate an original painting of Marquette’s Lower Harbor Ore Dock.
The party is on Thursday, May 28th, 2015, 6-9pm at the Marquette Commons. The cost to attend the event is $35 and includes all painting materials, painting instruction by a guest artist, light appetizers and beverages. At the end of the event, all participants will be able to take their work of art home. A short presentation about the Ore Dock BotEco Center will also be included during the paint party.
The Ore Dock BotEco Center is a non-profit organization. Our goal is to create a special place in Marquette’s waterfront that achieves a sustainable balance of educational, commercial and recreational uses.
