Marquette – In recognition of May as Mental Health month, a noontime drop-in informational session on Dialectical Behavior Therapy will be offered on Friday, May 8 at noon in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Presenters Lottie Kohtala and Mark Harris, both therapists at Pathways Community Mental Health, will provide an overview of Borderline Personality Disorder and how DBT can effectively cure it. Persons diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder have difficulty
regulating their emotions and DBT is a well established treatment for this condition.
This Lunch and Learn presentation is part of Your Mind Matters, a community dialog on mental health issues sponsored by a coalition of community groups and the Peter White Public Library.
