Marquette – A poetry writing workshop, ” Poems to Catch Your Eye: Using Nature and Exploration as Models” will be offered on Sunday, October 6 from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Led by Russ Thorburn, the U.P.s first Poet Laureate, the free workshop is for those in grade 8 and up. A revision for publication session for those who attend the October 6 program will be held Sunday, October 27 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the Dandelion Cottage Room of the library.
