Calendar – Education – Reading Day at the Mall – Mar. 17

Marquette – Marquette-Alger Reading Council and the libraries in Marquette and Alger Counties invite you to Reading Day on Saturday, March 17, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Westwood Mall.

Part of the mall will be transformed into a reading area for children with carpet and cushions. MARC will give a new book to each child who comes by to read.

Information will also be available to learn about library services, such as downloading free audio books, renewing books from home, and requesting reading materials from anywhere in the state. Find out about puppet shows, movies, storytelling, family literacy programs, concerts, and more budget friendly fun at your library. Local libraries will display information about their hours, service areas, and special collections.

Call 226-4318 for more information.
