Marquette – The River Valley Bank “Hope Starts Here Challenge” will be held on Saturday, May 9, beginning and ending at Lakeview Arena in Marquette.
The events are a half marathon, a duathlon that consists of a 5k run, 10-mile bike and 5k run; a 10k run, a 5k run, and a noncompetitive leisure walk/short bike ride.
The challenge is celebrating its 10th anniversary of raising funds and awareness for the Upper Michigan Brain Tumor Center through competitive and leisurely events geared for all ages and skill levels. Complimentary refreshments will be available for paid registrants after the events.
