The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer “Cleveland Cliffs Michigan Operation: Maintaining and Reclaiming Environmental Quality” on Tuesday, June 3 from 8:20 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The event will feature a trip to the Empire, Tilden and Republic mines.
There will not be a lunch break, but participants may bring food to snack on.
Cost is $4 for NCLL members, $7 for others. For information or to register, call class liaison John Klasner at 249-1348 before Friday, May 30. Rain date will be Wednesday, June 4.
