Houghton – The Copper Country Adoption Resource Group will sponsor an adoption workshop on Friday, November 7 at Evangel Baptist Church in Houghton.
Registration will begin at 5 p.m., with a potluck dinner at 5:30 p.m. Please bring a dish to pass.
At 6 p.m. Deborah Johnson, nationally recognized speaker and consultant on adoption and diversity issues, will discuss grief and loss in adoption. She is a Korean American adoptee, mother of two, and Adoptive Families Magazine columnist.
A question and answer period will begin at 8, with a video presentation at 8:30 p.m.
