The North Country Trail Hikers will have a public general membership meeting on Tuesday, May 27 at 7 p.m. at the Peter White Public Library.
There will be a by-law revisions vote.
Danielle Miller, conservation coordinator for the The Nature Conservancy in the Upper Peninsula, and Angie Lucas from the Hiawatha National Forest greenhouse will speak on invasive plants hikers may see along the trail, and how to prevent them from spreading. Miller will also discuss the U.P. Invasives Council and cooperative weed management agreements.
