Marquette – Kaufman Auditorium, in conjunction with the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, the National Endowment for the Arts and the L.G. Kaufman Lyceum program will present “An Evening With Steven Wiig” on Thursday, April 30 at 7 p.m. at Kaufman Auditorium on North Front Street in Marquette.
Steven Wiig is an actor best known for his roles in Sean Penn’s “Into The Wild,” Gus Van Sant’s “Milk” and Paul Thomas Anderson’s “The Master.” Born and raised in Negaunee, Wiig attended Northern Michigan University before relocating to Minnesota to pursue music. For over a dozen years, he traveled the world working with the heavy metal band Metallica and played the drums in the Metallica side-project Papa Wheelie.
Tickets in advance are $12 for adults, and $8 for students. Tickets at the door will be $3 higher. Tickets are available at all NMU EZ ticket outlets, online at www.nmu.edu/tickets or by calling 227-1032.
