Marquette – Bluesday Tuesday welcomes local band, Travis Swanson and the Midnight Movers, in a live concert on Tuesday, March 25 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Influenced by blues, soul, and jazz greats, along with Hank Williams and Bob Dylan, Swanson has played in Chicago and Los Angeles, then worked his way across Arizona and Texas to Florida, and north through Missouri and Iowa, and even performed in Europe. Presently he is finishing his university studies at NMU.
There is no admission charge to attend the event which is co-sponsored by the Marquette Area Blues Society and the Carroll Paul Memorial Trust Fund of the Peter White Public Library. Call 226-4318 or visit www.pwpl.info for more information.
