Marquette – The Matinee Movie series will offer a screening of “Unbroken” on Tuesday, April 14 at 12:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
This biographical drama is of Olympian Louis Zamperini who, after a near-fatal plane crash in WWII, spends a harrowing 47 days in a raft with two fellow crewmen before he’s caught by the Japanese navy and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp. The screenplay is based on the 2010 non-fiction book “Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption” by Laura Hillenbrand.
