Marquette – Readers Theater will meet for a reading of “Greater Tuna” written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard on Thursday, March 19 at 7 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Set in the fictional town of Tuna, Texas, the “third-smallest” town in the state, this is an affectionate comment on small-town, Southern life and attitudes but also a withering satire of the same. Two men play the entire cast of over twenty eccentric characters of both
genders and various ages.
Readers Theater is a group of adults who are interested in drama and are willing and able to read a scripted role. They meet on the third Thursday of each month to read plays for enjoyment. New readers are always welcome.
