Marquette – An Evening with Kal Penn will be offered on Thursday, March 19 at 8 p.m. in Vandament Arena on the campus of Northern Michigan University.
Penn has appeared in House, 24, and the Harold and Kumar films. Though there is a tradition of Hollywood stars campaigning for politicians, Penn may be the only one in recent memory to stop his career midstream to work full time in politics. This presentation is a chance to hear Penn address his passion for the intersection of pop culture, politics, and race.
Tickets can be purchased at the door while seats are
available at $8 for the general public and free for students with NMU ID.
