Marquette – Northern Michigan University’s theater program will present the drama, “A Coupla White Chicks Sitting Around Talking” on Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. each evening in the James A. Panowski Black Box Theatre. Doors open at 7 p.m.
The play follows straight-laced housewife Maude Mix, who is unprepared for her new eccentric neighbor, Hannah Mae Bindler. Hannah Mae badgers Maude into friendship and the two eventually join forces against their errant and erring husbands.
Tickets are available at all NMU EZ Ticket outlets or online at www.nmu.edu/tickets. Prices are $5 for NMU students with ID, $10 for other students and $15 for the general public.
