Marquette – Superior Arts Youth Theater will host intensive technical theater workshops for youth ages 11 to 18 interested in designing lighting, sound, or properties for their upcoming production of Kids
Sing Broadway. The workshops will take place on Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day in the Black Box Theater at Northern Michigan University. There will be a supervised lunch break from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. both days.
Registrants are able to choose one of the following intensive workshops: Sound Lab, Lighting Lab, and Scenic Art Lab. Youth registered in a workshop will be given the opportunity to design for Superior Arts Youth Theater’s production of Kids Sing Broadway, which will run May 11 though 13.
