Marquette – Irish playwright/screenwriter/director Conor McPherson’s award winning ghost story, “The Weir” will be performed on Thursday, September 24 and Friday, September 25 at 7 p.m. each evening in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Vertigo Theatre Company will take the audience to a small rural pub in Ireland where the locals are swapping tales of the supernatural. The play is as much about lack of close relationships and missed connections as it is about anything else.
Audiences ages 16 and up are invited to experience the eerie drama of “The Weir.” Tickets for admission cost $7.50 each and are only available in advance at the library circulation desk, on the main floor, or by calling 228-9510. Proceeds benefit the library. Advance purchase is required due to space constraints. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
Visit www.pwpl.info or call 228-9510 for more information.
