Calendar – Education – Storytelling Session – Mar. 30

Marquette – Northern Michigan University will mark Women’s History Month with Robin Wall Kimmerer, author of Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants, leading a storytelling session with other featured storytellers on Monday, March 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Whitman Hall Commons on the NMU Campus.

Kimmerer will also present a keynote address, “The Honorable Harvest: Indigenous Knowledge and Conservation,” on Tuesday, March 31 at 7 p.m. in 1100 Jamrich Hall.

The event is free and open to the public.
