Marquette – The Matinee Movie “The Wind Rises” will be shown on Thursday, March 12 at 12:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
This animated historical drama is the fictionalized biopic of Jiro Horikoshi (1903–1982), designer of the Mitsubishi A5M fighter aircraft and its successor, the Mitsubishi A6M Zero, used by the Empire of Japan during World War II.
“The Wind Rises” is rated PG-13 and runs for 126 minutes. Matinee Movie welcomes the public to bring their own lunch and enjoy the feature film with closed captioning on for access to all, in a cafe theater setting.
