Marquette – The Ancient Artifact Preservation Society will present “The Norse: An Arctic Mystery” on Saturday, January 10 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Buried under the tundra on a windy cape of Baffin Island lies one of the most important archaeological finds in Canada. Learn more about archaeologist Pat Sutherland’s work on this new Norse settlement. Participants are encouraged to bring in their artifacts, photographs, maps or other items relating to the Ancient American puzzle for a “show and tell” section following the main feature.
