Houghton – The 4th Annual “Ring in the New Year” Snow Shoe and Sledding event will be held on Saturday, January 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Nara Nature Trails in Houghton.
Snow shoe a 4 K loop or do a fun loop with the kids! Longer loops are available on the trails. Free snowshoe rental will be available with pre-registration. Enjoy refreshments, a scavenger hunt, face painting, story time and more in the Nara Chalet.
Registration is available online at www.kfrckids.org. Children 10 and under are free (child’s tee shirt available at extra cost) and adults are $15 (long sleeve tee shirt included). Call 482-9363 for more information.
