Marquette – In celebration of blues music, Bluesday Tuesday will host a screening of the concert film “Carlos Santana Plays Blues at Montreux 2004” on
Tuesday, November 25 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Filmed on July 12, 2004, superstar guitarist Carlos Santana assembles a blues dream team for this concert at Switzerland’s legendary Montreux Jazz Festival. Featured at this screening is Buddy Guy delivering a full concert set packed with sumptuous blues guitar playing. Santana, who also served as musical director for the evening,
sits in with the performer and R&B great Nile Rodgers also makes a guest appearance.
