Negaunee – The first ever Furry Friday will be held on Friday, November 21 from noon to 6:30 p.m. at the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, 84 Snowfield Road in Negaunee Township.
Join the UPAWS staff and volunteers for a fun event with hot coffee, cookies and other refreshments and a Kid’s Korner with fun crafts, coloring, and animal education.
This is also an adoption event, with 25 percent off all dog adoptions, $25 cat adoptions (ages 6 months and up) and $65 kitten adoptions (under 6 months.) All adopters get a “Tell a Friend” Adoption Coupon to pass along the discount to friends and family that may be considering adoption.
