Marquette – The Zonta Club of the Marquette Area spring fundraiser, “NAILED IT-Cocktails and Crafts” will be held on Saturday, March 11 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Jacobetti Center at Northern Michigan University.
Participants for “Nailed It” will spend an afternoon of craft making and cocktails. Choose from a variety of workshops including arm knitting a scarf, painting a canvas, floral arrangements, food preparation, jewelry making and more.
Ticket prices begin at $35 and includes one workshop with an option to add a second, a chance to win prizes, and a swag bag and complimentary appetizers. A cash bar will be available.
Proceeds from the event will benefit grants and scholarships given by Zonta to the community. Some of these grants were given to Big Brothers Big Sisters, Partridge Creek Farm, YMCA, Great Lakes Recovery, and many others.
