Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a tour of Lakestate Industries on Wednesday, October 15 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Headquarters, 1500 M28 in Harvey.
The tour will cover LSI programs, products and services that help people recognize their abilities, overcome obstacles and find support for reaching higher levels of employment and community involvement. Lake State Industries is a non-profit organization.
The cost is $3 for NCLL members and $8 for non-members. Call the NCLL office at 227-2979 to register before the October 10 deadline.
Those attending are asked to bring used toilet rolls and old candle wax as materials for the workers to recycle into fire starters.
