Archaeology Fair at the Marquette Regional History Center Saturday, October 18th

MARQUETTE – Spend a fun afternoon learning all about archaeology. International Archaeology Day is celebrated throughout the world on this day. This Marquette fair will introduce youth and adults alike to archaeology through hands-on activities, dig site stories, interactive games and displays, and more. Local experts will be here to share their work (artifacts!) and expertise. Our fair this year will honor the late Dr. John Anderton.

Come discover archaeology throughout the whole museum on this day, through our galleries and many interactive fair booths. See what is being discovered all around your Upper Peninsula region. Check out archaeologyday.org, where we are listed among fairs all over the world on this day. Fair included with the cost of general admission.

Marquette Regional History Center 145 West Spring Street, Marquette, MI 49855 906.226.3571 marquettehistory.org. Museum admission prices: adults: $7, seniors: $6, students: $3, youth 12 and under: $2.
