“Care For Carol” Spaghetti Dinner Benefit October 11th

Carol Marra, a lifelong Ishpeming resident, is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. She is receiving radiation and chemo at the University of Chicago. Family and friends are hosting a Spaghetti Benefit Dinner to raise funds to help defray medical and travel costs.

The Care for Carol Benefit will be held on Saturday, October 11, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the K/D Hall in Ishpeming. There will also be bucket raffles, silent auctions and 50-50 drawings. Cost is $8/person; children under 5 are free.

An account has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank. Donations can also be sent to Kris, 1780 Glendora, Ishpeming. Thrivent Financial is providing matching funds for this event.
