Marquette – CineArts Films, a series devoted to foreign and independent films, will celebrate French-Canadian Heritage Day with the film “The Rocket: The Legend of Rocket Richard” on Friday, October 3 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
This biographical sports film is about Quebec’s most famous hockey player, Maurice “The Rocket” Richard, focusing on the struggles of a French Canadian in the NHL in 2205.
