Marquette – Peter White Public Library’s Film Club will offer a free screening of the modern classic film “Howards End” on Thursday, May 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s Community Room.
Based on the classic novel by E. M. Forster, “Howards End” is a story of class relations in turn of the century England. The plot revolves around the lives of three families, examining the codes of conduct, personal relationships and social conventions of the time.
The film, released in 1992, is rated PG and runs for 140 minutes. Light refreshments will be served. There is no admission charge. For more information visit
