Marqueette – The U.P. Green Expo will be held on Thursday, May 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn of Marquette.
The event is sponsored by by the Michigan Clean Corporate Citizen Program and the Michigan Green Communities Challenge, offering green tools for corporations and communities; the Sustainable Research Group facilitating Department of Energy manufacturing programs; and U.P. Green, a Michigan non-profit offering recycling services and establishing the U.P. Green Business Zone.
The focus of the workshop is to help U.P. businesses and communities receive focused expertise on running Green, Clean & Lean operations and to build procurement opportunities for sustainable and eco-responsible U.P. businesses.
