Marquette – Film fans are invited to a BYO Dinner Theater to enjoy a screening of “Philomena” on Thursday, September 11 at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
The film is the true story of a burnt out political journalist who picks up the story of an elderly woman’s search for her son. The child was taken away from her decades earlier after she became pregnant as a teenager and was forced to live in a convent.
The film was released in 2013, rated is PG-13 and runs for 98 minutes.
