Beaches Closed in the City of Marquette

CITY OF MARQUETTE FIRE DEPARTMENT PUBLIC INFORMATION NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT Effective Date: Tuesday, August 19, 2014

Be advised that the City of Marquette beaches are closed today due to inclement weather. Lifeguards will not be on duty during this period of time. Beaches will reopen when conditions warrant.

The City Fire Department will issue a news releases tomorrow morning, advising news agencies of either beaches re-opening, or continued closure. Beach status updates can also be accessed on the City’s website www.mqtcty.org/Beachfront/default.html Thank you.
