Aug. 4, 2014 — One lane of US-2 will be closed in Escanaba beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday and again at 8 a.m. Thursday for catch basin maintenance work.
The catch basins are at the railroad overpass near the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Escanaba.
The northbound lane will be closed Tuesday morning, with work expected to be completed by Wednesday morning. The southbound lane will be closed Thursday morning; that work is expected to be completed by Friday morning.
Motorists should expect single-lane closures of the outside lane with a traffic shift.
